Inner Eye

its a misty morning today .... and at 7.30 am - wondering .... is this sun or moon ?🤔 appearances can be deceptive !  and a spiritual thought flows in my mind ... today's  generation are very dependent on the senses . seeing life through the “ inner eye “, ie through intuition is lacking .... as an educationalist , i feel its my duty to nurture the inner life of the child ......,,,                                                       Mrs.Vidhya Chendhil.,BE.,B.Ed.,MS Executive Director

AWAKE! oh human ! ARISE ! earth will survive  without us !                                 It is easy to discard and to destroy ;but it takes a great deal of creativity to recreate ; our planet today needs children who can conserve and recreate from our available resources ; this generation needs to reinvent themselves ; to lead a sustainable life is not a status symbol anymore ; tsunamis , earthquakes and cloudbursts are nature’s warning to the human race – yes , we humans are the last species in evolution of life on earth ; In just one century, we have destroyed and are destroying our ancestors ( the microbes , insects , trees …. who have evolved and perfected themselves over millions of years…)AWAKE! oh human ! ARISE ! earth will survive without us ! the question is only about OUR survival ….. As an educationalist i often ask myself …..what is it that we should to be teaching our chil...
Spiritual Path                      We do not have to tell youngsters to follow a religion or a saint, but we definitely have to guide them to “find” their spiritual path. Mere education of the mind without nurturing the soul is the root cause of all problems in the society today……We , as adults should provide the youngsters opportunities for spiritual exposure through divine satsangs, talks, walks and rejuvenation camps……. “every soul is potentially divine” – said Swami Vivekananda and our role as adults is to help our children identify that spark within them. Living the Moment             In this fast paced life, we are constantly,“doing “ something – either managing or organizing or instructing or correcting or arguing . We sometimes loose out on the “essence” of true living. Imitating the adults, the children of today are also either texting or reading or chatting. “Simply being” has become a thing of the past… I remember my grandmother, she used to sit calmly for hours on the rope cot, with her legs stretched out, with a serene smile; i used to wonder what she was thinking all the time! Today, I realize, she was just “living the moment”; yes! celebrities today take pride in attending vipasana meditation classes, where, for ten days, we are encouraged to stay in silence. Moving to a “thoughtless” state is the ultimate happiness; children reach that state naturally, when they are engaged in play; but sadly today, technology is upsetting their serenity.              ...
